Four steps, three to five weeks, and you see it on paper before I cut anything.

Tell me the idea

The words, the place, or the room it's going in. A rough size is enough to start.

Approve the drawing

You get a scaled layout with wood and finish marked. Change anything here — it's free.

Cut and carve

Cut, carved, sanded, and assembled at the bench. Progress photos along the way.

Finish and ship

Hand-rubbed oil, hanging hardware on, packed double-boxed and insured.

Wood & pricing

Price comes down to size and how much cutting is involved. Here's the honest range before you ask.

Species: Walnut, cherry, white oak, hard maple, cedar, Baltic birch. Mixed species on request.
Sizes: From 8 in up to 48 in on the long edge. Bigger is possible — ask and I'll quote it.
Finish: Hand-rubbed matte oil, repairable. Exterior signs get a UV-resistant spar finish.
Signs: From $95 for a simple name sign · $250+ for carved and painted work
Decor: From $85 · most quote boards and date pieces land between $110 and $200
Maps: From $180 small single-species · $400–900 for large multi-species work
Deposit: Half once you approve the drawing, half before it ships.
